Description
At the Institute for Solid State Physics, The University of Tokyo, we were aware of the serious helium crisis that began in 2019 from an early stage. The institute is in the position of leading low temperature science and we have been working on a recycling project to mitigate the impact of the crisis. In this article, we will describe the helium crisis countermeasures that were implemented in 2019 and the current situation of the recycling activities.
