<p>In recent years, a flexible thermoelectric generator that generate electricity on a skin of a human body or on a curved surface of thermal pipes have been actively studied. There are not many studies with respect to flexible heat radiation fin attached to such a device. We have previously proposed flexible thermoelectric generator that uses origami structure and the folded part as a fin to realize flexible heat radiation fin. However, consideration on improving heat dissipation performance by devising fin shapes has not been sufficiently investigated. In this paper, in order to improve heat dissipation performance, we performed a shape optimization of origami fin. First, we investigate parameters of rectangle-shaped fin dependency of heat dissipation performance of fin. As a result, we obtained that the radiation performance of fin can be improved by making substrate thicken or changing shape of rectangle-shaped fin. Also, we confirmed that thermal resistance increases by increasing the area of the substrate. Next, we optimized a shape of origami fin under changing the number of folds.</p>
