Description

A hammering test is carried out to find a cavity in a structure by an inspect hammer or an impulse hammer. In previous study, we performed identification analysis of a cavity position and the size based on the FEM and the adjoint variable method using hammering sound pressure. In this study, we focused on the identification analysis of a cavity position based on the FEM and the adjoint variable method using a surface displacement data in a hammering inspection. Moreover, a global optimization algorithm was carried out to obtain a highly accuracy cavity position.
