Abstract

<p>Ultra violet (UV) lamps are installed to air-conditioning systems to remove microbes. The present study aims to investigate the relationship between the sterilization effect and the location of UV lamp in two types of fun-coil units. The results of the numerical simulation show that the sterilization effect is improved by installing the lamp close to the high-velocity region.</p>
