Abstract

The present study is to analyze how serials works are organized in 383 Japanese university libraries. In this article, serials work is defined as the whole process covering acquisition, cataloguing, and public services of serials.<br> It is suggested that there are relationships among the number of the current serials titles, the number of the employees, and the organizational type of serials work.
