Description
This paper describes a PER estimation method considering the impacts of difference of interference frequency on SINR, and a selection of optimum digital modulation method according to interference environment is discussed. The impact of bandpass filters and despreading process at a DSSS or CCK receiver on an interference signal varies more than 10 dB depending on the interference frequency, therefore the frequency-dependent characteristics should be taken into account in the PER estimation. The proposed optimum selection of digital modulation method considering interference frequency is effective to reduce transmission delay compared with the conventional adaptive control.
