Description
In this paper, we propose a high speed visible light communication method using LED modulated light and a video camera. In the proposed method, a transmitter superimposes a subcarrier expressing information with quadrature amplitude modulation in the frequency domain and transmits a signal with the light intensity of the LED. The receiver captures this with a camera and demodulates it. As a result of experiments, the throughput 9.6kbps with error free was confirmed. The extension of the communication distance and the improvement of the speed remain as future works.
