Description

Arguements about adolescents using "initiation" as a key word were reviewed. In Japan, the arguements started with interpretating a work in psychotherapy (Henderson, 1967). Kawai (1986) used the word as a key word in his arguement about adolescents for the first time. Recently, Kawasaki (1988), Okada (1990), and Higashiyama (1990) developed the arguement to the method of understanding adolescents' behaveour. Following these arguements, qualitative and descriptive data form the point of view of both its inevitability and its difficulty is expected.
