In this paper, I try to discover that delegation is a critical factor for a growth company, especially entrepreneurial one. Through a number of antecedent studies with regard to development stage model for a business organization, we can discover two types of delegation. The one is delegation of daily operational decisions. The other is delegation of strategic management decisions. This paper first discusses the timing and the scope of each delegation. It also examines the reasons for that entrepreneurs can’t delegate to employees effectively for each delegation, and tries to discover that they have a negative influence of the entrepreneurial companies. As discussed above, this paper demonstrates that there are two types of delegation, delegation of daily operational decisions and delegation of strategic management decisions. It also discovers that personal problems and organizational problems are identified as major barriers for two types of delegation. And it explains how these two problems are related to each delegation for a growth of a business organization.
