Abstract

We developed a procedure that enable solar-radiation-dependent drip-irrigation system to use on terraced fields of asparagus by using water level adjustment tanks to control the hydraulic pressure in drip tube. The system can be introduced to asparagus fields while restraining the material cost by utilization of the existing pipes for sprinkler that are widespread facilities in Hiroshima prefecture.
