抄録

High power density ion beam was irradiated to tungsten specimen by using neutral beam injection facility at AIST. Beam energy and flux by each shot are 25 keV and 8.9x10^<22> ions/m^2s, respectively. Duration time of each shot is 30 with 6 min interval, and total fluence is controlled by the number of shot. In the case of helium irradiation of 1.5x10^<22> ions/m^2, large sized blisters with the diameter of 500 nm were densely observed. However, in the case of helium irradiation of 4.1x10^<22> ions/m^2, fine nano-branch structures appeared instead of blisters which was measured using a scanning electron microscopy, and very dense fine helium bubbles with the size of 1-50 nm were observed by cross-sectional transmission electron microscope using focused ion beam technique. The density of tungsten matrix was drastically decreased by void swelling with growth of helium bubbles. In the case of hydrogen irradiation of 1.3x10^<22> ions/m^2, these damages were not observed.
