本研究は,音楽表現に生活経験がどのように反映されるかという観点から中学生のラップの創作授業の分析を行い,音楽表現と生活経験との関連を考察するものである。ここでは,表現の原理を根拠として,自己の内的世界を音で形づくるものとしての表現を自己表現とし,そこに音楽表現と生活経験との接点を見出した。分析視点は1自己表現の発展過程,2自己表現の連続性であった。結果,まずはラップの素材となる「言葉の選択」において生活経験が想起され,つぎに音楽の構成要素を操作する「表現の工夫」において生活経験に伴う生活感情が表現内容として意識されるようになった。そこに「ラップの形式」が自己表現の連続性を促す主要因となって作用していたことが明らかとなった。

The purpose of this paper is to determine the relationship between music expression and living experience through the analysis of the activity of making rap music in junior high school music class. According to the theory of expression, the concept of self-expression gives musical expression contact with living experience. The analytic view is the developing process of self-expression and its continuity. The conclusions are as follows; (1) Students reflect their own living experiences on the selections of words and the creative uses of musical elements in making rap music. (2) The form of rap music serves to move the continuous interaction of music expression and living experience.
