説明

There is a recent need for university education reform which prioritizes the viewpoints of students; however, reform of this nature is yet to make significant progress. The Students-Participatory FD is one strategy which aims to break free from the current situation. This research compares the "activity contents", "activity objectives and policies", "activity background and current university conditions", "relationship between students and faculty", and "achievement status of results and goals" of three Students-Participatory FD activities, namely Liberal Arts Revolution, Student-Teacher Association for Refining HANDAI, and School of Human Sciences Festival Symposium, which have been implemented at Osaka University over the last 30 years. Results reveal that the quality of activities improves as we move from the past to present. In addition, the research revealed that constant dialogue and cooperation between students and faculty is desirable. Moreover, although the results reveal that students felt dissatisfied with lectures in all of the periods examined, implementing activities which involve these students was found to be important.
