Social Capital has often been used to explain the relationship between people and health. Increasingly more studies on Social Capital have been conducted recently. This article reviewed Social Capital studies focusing on its definition, the regionality, and the association with the elderly people. Our findings suggested that Social Capital research should reveal their correct relative position. For applying Social Capital in the super-aged society, we should identify Social Capital in existence by focusing on the regionality, use interdisciplinary approaches, and promote generativity.
