The purpose of this study is to discuss the inter-linkages in the international urban system between Korea and Vietnam through an analysis of location of offices, branches and subsidiaries of Korean companies in Vietnam. The data used in the study were obtained from various company directories and related publications in Korea. The author analyzed the characteristics of structures of the international urban system from offices, branches and subsidiaries networks. The results are summarized as follows; The international urban system between Korea and Vietnam is classified into two structures, according to the Murayama model of offices, branches and subsidiaries networks: One is inter-metropolitan network in which strong linkages between Seoul and Ho Chi Minh are clearly formed; and the other is the vertical structure in which many non-metropolitan cities are under the control of Seoul and Ho Chi Minh.
