Description

We analyzed 47 unsuccessful experiences in communication out of 77 process records by the first-year nurse students in fundamental nursing practice. The results were as follows; 1) The nurse students tend to hesitate to communicate with their patients because of their concern and presumption, 2)they speak rather than listen to their patients when they are faced with the unfavorable topics. The teaching staffs should be qualified to be able to put student's thought into words by giving the appropriate instruction and guidance at the site of their unsuccessful experiences in communication.
