Abstract

A　decline　of　children's　communication　ability, human　relations, and　local　community　has　been　pointed　out in recent　years．　Opposing　such　tendency, Junior　Leader　Training　Program in Yufuin－cho　has　provided　children　with an　opportunity　for　their　sound　growth　through　a　kind　of　session　play　called　"experience－based　learning．"　ln this paper, outcome　of　the　program　was　analyzed　in　terms　of　"self－others　relationship,"　"self consciousness," and "influence on everyday life"．　As　a　result, it　was　observed　that　children's　self－others　relationship　was　deepened through　a　move　from　simple　verbal　dialogue　to　verbal　and　body－based　dialogue, and　self－consciousness　was heightened　through　a　move　from　self－understanding　to　self－affirmation． In　addition, it　was　suggested　that　these experience　had　good　influence on children's　everyday　life．
