説明

Rutile TiO2 powder and rutile single crystal TiO2 were studied by Raman spectroscopy . Since powder sample oriented in random crystallographic direction, Raman spectrum of it did not change when measured several times . However the results of Raman spectroscopy for single crystal TiO2 were different. Spectra of (001) and (100) surfaces were quite different from those obtained for powder sample. Especially Raman spectrum of (100) surface changed when it was rotated with respect to the polarization direction of incident beam.
