In this paper, through the interpretation of the story of two works “Self” and “The Cat Who Liked Potate Soup” which were made into teaching materials in recent years, there is a problem of stratification of the subject of the story and relationship between the subject and the other Consider the problem of human and animal ethics. At that time, we analyze the story of “Zamza to love” which is one of the latest short stories.

筆者は，これまで数多くの村上春樹教材を分析してきたが，本稿では近年教材化された二つの作品「自己とは何か」と『ポテト・スープが大好きな猫』の物語解釈を通して，物語の主体の重層性の問題と，主体と他者の関係にある人間と動物の倫理の問題を検討する。その際，最新短編の一つである「恋するザムザ」にも目を配ることにする。
