Description

学説史の中で公共空間といえば、やはりユルゲン・ハーバーマスの公共圏(Öffentlichkeit)を避けて通るわけにはいかない。本論は、ハーバーマスの出世作とも言える『公共性の構造転換』が、英訳ではpublic sphere となっていることに着目し、Öffentlichkeit 概念が包摂する空間性を問うことから出発し、ハーバーマス公共圏論の基本構図に迫った。本論は、まず、ハーバーマスのÖffentlichkeit 概念の特徴について再確認する作業を行い、次いで、古代ギリシアのポリス以降の市民的公共圏の4つの位相を、ハーバーマスのÖffentlichkeit 概念に即しつつ、検討する。
