Abstract

<p>Many studies have focused on comparability over region and comparability over domains, and international organizations have established many standards and guidelines to enhance them. However, it is still an issue to be addressed to measure the comparability over time of datasets. In this study, we use the credit rating as an example and collect the financial data of 44 Japanese regional banks in different fiscal years. An index for measuring the comparability over time using principal component scores is proposed, and its effectiveness is confirmed by the example.</p>
