本研究では「総合的な学習の時間」を活用して,大阪府・柏原市・大阪教育大学の連携で行われている森林体験学習での環境教育としての教育的効果について調査をおこなった。2003年, 2004年の柏原市の小学校での実施後のアンケートの結果から,ほとんどの児童がこの授業について満足しており,実体験を伴う森林体験学習が児童への学習意欲を促すことが明らかとなった。さらに,児童達が,実体験以外に大学生ボランティアとのふれあいをその満足点の高い主要な点として挙げていたことから,大学生のボランティアスタッフとの体験学習への参加は教育的効果が大きいことが判明した。

We investigated the educational effect of the forest-working environmental educational programs for the integrated studies, which have been conducted several elementary schools in Kashiwara, in collaboration with Osaka Kyoiku University, Osaka Prefectural Central Office and Kashiwara City Office. The results of the survey of the elementary students attitudes toward these learning both in 2004 and 2005 showed that most of the students were fully satisfied with these programs. And they also indicated that these programs might be highly effective to inspire the motivation of learning of the environmental education in the students. Especially the participation of the undergraduate students of Osaka Kyoiku University in these studies would give the large educative effects in these programs.
