本研究は,欺瞞に関するパーソナリティ・タイプを測定するための「欺瞞尺度」(Deception Scale)の開発に向けた,一連の研究における第一段階をなすものである。 613名の学生と社会人の男女を被験者とし,作成した欺瞞尺度に回答を求め,主成分分析を行った結果,7つのパーソナリティ・タイプが見出された。それらは,迎合的演技タイプ・他者志向性タイプ・状況対応タイプ・自己顕示性タイプ・欺瞞肯定タイプ・虚飾性タイプ・利得性タイプであった。

In this study, the development of the scale for measuring the personality type on the deception was tried. In making man and woman of 613 students and member of society to be an examinee, the answer to the deception scale was required. As a result of the principal component analysis, seven personality types were found. They are Opportunism acting type, Another intention type, Cope with conditions type, Selfassertive type, Deception affirmative type, Affectation type and Profit type.
