This thesis attempts firstly, to clarify the trend and feature of FDI in Korea, and secondly to analyze the economic effect of FDI on Korean economy, and finally to analyze how Korean economic growth pattern changes under globalization. / The Korean economy is further converted into conformity-structure by accepting FDI at globalization. FDI has economic effects such as ① the source of stable acquisition of foreign currency, ② the production expansion effect, ③job creation effect, ④the export expansion effect, ⑤the structural adjustment effect of "cheabol", ⑥ the improvement of corporate management, ⑦ the technology-transfer effect . / But FDI has negative effects such as ① the outflow of national wealth from Korea, ② the increase of the foreigner's stock share, ③the rise of the market share of foreigner investment company, ④ the friction between foreign manager and Korean manager, ⑤ the labor problem in foreigner investment company, ⑥ the increase of the influential voice of foreigner investment company. And Korea is adapted for the globalization exceeding the frame of "national economy
