Description
In this paper, we describe a new thread control mechanism .which manages threads by hardware. The innovative point of this mechanism is to integrate a thread control unit into a processor, thus the FUCE processor can execute fine-grain threads efficiently. In particular, this newly introduced mechanism is designed with the mind that the FUCE J)rocessor will perform many threads concurrently, and the management cost problem of the fine-grain multi-threading should be solved.
