本研究では,異性友人関係における性役割意識と行動について,また両者の関連について調査した。調査1から,異性友人関係における行動についての37項目が選ばれた。調査2では「普通の自己」「異性友人と共にいる時の自己」「同性友人と共にいる時の自己」「相手の印象」についての性役割意識と調査1で選出した行動の頻度を尋ねた。分析の結果,同性友人関係と共通の「友達として」の行動が多くなされている事,「異性友人と共にいる時の自己」と「普通の自己」での性役割意識に違いが見られない事,性役割意識の現れには相手の性役割意識についての認知は関連していない事,性役割意識と行動には顕著な関連が見られない事が示された。

The present study examined about the behavior and the gender role consciousness in an opposite-sex friendship , and relationships between both. In Survey 1, 37 items about the behavior in an opposite-sex friendship were chosen. In Survey 2, the gender role consciousness about "Self-in-General" "Self-with-Cross-sex- Friend""Self-with-Same-sex-Friend""Impression-of-Partner", and the frequency of the behavior chosen in Survey 1 were asked. The result showed that there is much behavior "as a friend" which was common in the same-sex friendship, that there is no difference in the gender role consciousness between "Self-with-Cross-sex-Friend" and "Self-in-General", the cognition about a partner's gender role consciousness not relate to expression of gender role consciousness, and there is no remarkable relation in gender role consciousness and behavior.
