Abstract

In this study, we focused on the type of systems that the central or local governments can build for earthquake victims to enable quick rebuilding. We estimated the necessary reconstruction funds and the benefits of the support system, including self-funding in the earthquake aftermath. We subsequently captured the trend of damage and estimated the effects of future support measures by clarifying the earthquake intensity, damage level, dwelling reconstruction, and deficient reconstruction funds for each type of structure. In addition, the self-funding assumes multiple cases due to its expected variability among households.
