Abstract

<p>A 58-year-old male was undergoing treatment for bronchial asthma. Cough was noted 2 months ago, and bilateral infiltrative shadows were seen on chest radiographs. Bronchoscopy showed increased eosinophils in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid, white moss in the airway epithelium, and eosinophil infiltration with erosions and ulcersin the pathological findings. The patient was diagnosed with chronic eosinophilic pneumonia. He was treated withsteroids, which resulted in an improvement in his condition.</p>
