Abstract
<p>The characteristics of coherence of ground motion at adjacent points were evaluated from the ground motion simulation using 3-D heterogeneous soil models and clarified the relation between the coherence at adjacent points and heterogeneous parameter such as correlation distance and coefficient of variation of heterogeneous soil models. From these results, we also proposed the coherence model of ground motion at adjacent points that could express the coherence of ground motion simulation, by constructing the wave equation considering the variation of the propagation velocity and deriving the correlation of wave field at adjacent points.</p>
