Abstract

In this paper the exact WKB analysis, that is, the WKB analysis based on the Borel resummation method, of difference equations for Bessel functions is considered. We investigate their WKB solutions, Stokes curves, and connection formulas by using integral representations of solutions. In particular, we will show that in nitely many new Stokes curves appear for the difference equations for Bessel functions.
