Abstract

<p>The purpose of this paper is to propose hypotheses on profitability of MVNOs. The paper focuses on cases in UK where MVNOs have developed. MVNOs are divided into three strategic groups by business forms and analyzed by mean operating income ratio. As a result, it is found that business forms determine the mean operating income ratio. In addition, company groups running plural business seems to gain higher mean operating income ratio compared with ones running only mobile communications service.</p>
