Abstract

<p> Three months long ensemble inflow prediction was newly introduced to the operation support system for a single hydroelectric dam developed by Koike et.al.(2021). Inflow predictions; 39 hours ensemble and three months ensemble, were confirmed to have meaningful accuracy and adopted to reservoir operations. The system showed that the reservoir’s authority could expect 6.0% increase of hydro power generation annually.</p>
