Abstract
<p>This study aimed to conduct a scoping review on occupational therapy practice in both critical and intensive care environments in Japan, clarify the actual situation of occupational therapy, and obtain suggestions. We performed a search by Journal of Health Care and Society, CiNii, a hand search by Google, and screened according to the selection criteria. Eight documents were extracted. The evaluation index used by occupational therapists consisted of four items: physical function, cognitive function, psychological function, and ADL. In addition, I did OT practice for the above items, as well as IADL and Environmental adjustment. In recent years, occupational therapy reports have been on the rise. It is expected that the number of occupational therapy reports will continue to increase and their usefulness will be verified.</p>
