Description

Over the past eight years, Kyushu University has implemented the “Global Science Campus (GSC)”, a high-school-university collaborative science project supported by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). This project aims to discover high school students who have excellent qualities in the fields of science and technology, and to nurture young researchers who will play an active role in the world in the future. For this purpose, Kyushu University has established the Future Creators in Science Project (QFC-SP). In the project, professors conduct high school students in scientific research activities on the university campus. This article reports the implementation status of the project: education program, management organization, various data on the project and so on. In addition, we will report observations on the future state of the so-called “High School/University Articulation” and “Human Resources Development in University”, which emerged through the implementation of QFC-SP.
