Abstract 　This article examines the exercise of shareholder voting rights. In this study, the method of determining the content of exercised shareholder voting rights is examined based on specific cases. 　In particular, when shareholder voting rights are exercised using ballots at shareholder meetings, whether we can consider circumstances other than ballots in order to understand the content of the votes is discussed. This study also points out the impact of this issue on practice.
