Ptolemaios and Copernicus have been contrasted mainly with respect to geo／helocentrism. In this paper it is shown that looking into the mathematical astronomy of both is necessary to evaluate them and the integration of physica and mathematica is the keypoint. Also inappropriateness of special Japanese terms to express what correspond geocentrism and heliocentrism etc., tendō-setsu（“heaven-moving theory” and chidō-setsu（“earth-moving theory”）is discussed.
