[SUMMARY] Bear festival may be compared with a stage play. It shows different phases of the hero-bear from his death to funeral, the actors around him are hunters and their fellows of the camps, villages. We have fundamental works of Bear festival: A.I. Hallowell “Bear Ceremonialism in the Northern Hemisphere“ (American Anthropologist, 1926) and B.A.Vasil’ev(Б.А.Васильев) “Медвежийпраздник”, (Советская Этнография, №4, 1948). In these publications we find surprisingly lots of common scenes of the festival among the peoples of North America, Eurasia and Siberia, that could suggest another way to investigate the prehistory of human migrations.
