Description

In clinical psychology, since client visits therapist with wavering feelings, therapist's feelings also tend to waver. I examined the wavering feeling from the viewpoint of sense of coherence. It is considered more efficient for therapist to accept the wavering feelings and make use of what is inside them, rather than trying to remove wavering feelings from the outside. I thought that therapists need to think about interaction of client and therapist, and always be aware of where they are and what they are doing, when the therapist was wavered by the client's words. So that, I thought, it would lead to strong sense of coherence, which would be wavered in moderation.
