Description

Kraft lignin (KL) and sodium lignosulfonate (LS) were dissolved in diethylene glycol triethylene glycol and polyethylene glycol (molecular weight; Mw=ca.200). Polyurethane (PU) composites were prepared from the above polyols containing various smounts of KL and LS by changing amounts of inorganic filleres such as barium sulfate; (BaSO_4), calcium carbonate; (CaCO_3) and talc. Mechanical properities of the above PU composites were investigated by compression tests. Compression tests were carried out according to the Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) at room temperature, using Shimadzu Autograph AG-IS.
