Description

All Japanese classes in Kobe University Global Education Center were given by remote learning from 2020 April to 2022 July. This paper reports the practical class activities of Introductory Japanese courses. This course was performed by following methods and contents: ice breaking; group work; mutual assistance; videos related to Japanese cultures and music; authentic materials; live class; HyFlex class. This courses also especially focused on communication and mutual understanding of each cultures and background. Through the courses not only build up fundamental Japanese language skills but also develop communication skills based on participants personality and cultural background.
