Abstract

古墳時代中期のある日、多摩川左岸に作られた染地ムラを巨大な地震がおそった。ガタガタの後、強烈な上下動が長く続き、地面は家ごとぐわんぐわんと上下にうねり、誰も立っていられない。そして、とうとう家がななめに傾き始め、柱はズブズブと地下に沈み込んだ。柱とともに重たい屋根もスローモーションをみるように崩れていった。
