Abstract

Heat transfer can be analogized to an electric circuit as a thermal circuit. In this method, heat transfer models are generally created and analyzed by mapping heat flow rate to electric current and temperature difference to potential difference. Using this method, the boiler simulator created in a previous study of a vertical combustor focused on heat flow and represented the combustion system and the boiler heat transfer system as a single circuit. However, the combustion gas system and the boiler water system are originally independent of each other, and heat is transferred to the boiler water through water pipes. In this study, a new circuit for the combustion system, in which the combustion gas flow rate corresponds to the electric current and the heat drop corresponds to the potential difference, was devised, and separated from the circuit of the boiler heat transfer system using the conventional method, and a heat circuit model that takes into account actual heat transfer was devised.
