<p>Fluidized bed combustion equipment for biomass has not been widely adopted by Small and Medium Business(SMB)because of its largeness. Therefore, we aim to downsize the fluidized bed and to simplify the ancillary equipment by reducing the air ratio during combustion in this study. To achieve this objective, we evaluated the effects of differences in the internal structure of the combustor on combustion characteristic. We investigated carbon conversion rate and carbon dioxide conversion rate based on the presence or absence of secondary air and freeboard fluidized bed. As a result, it was confirmed that the inflow of secondary air promoted the combustion of unburned samples and unburned gas, and the fluidized bed in the freeboard section promoted the combustion of unburned samples.</p>
