Abstract
<p>This paper examines whether top U.S. digital content platforms like Netflix, Max, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video have utilized the "Blue Ocean Strategy" for success and if these strategies can be applied in the Japanese market. Using publicly available data, the study reveals how each platform differentiates itself, offering unique value to consumers. Strategies like initial member acquisition, original content development, and reducing subscription barriers are considered effective for market penetration and growth in Japan.</p>
