- ライフステージの変化に応じたサポートを必要とした卵巣がんの一例
Abstract
<p> The adolescents and young adults (AYA) which face various life events, such as schooling, employment, marriage, reproduction, and child-raising has their own psychosocial issues. Therefore, the importance of management for AYA cancer patients is personalized assessment based on their stage of life and understanding individual needs.</p><p> We report a case of 24-year-old woman who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and treated with fertility-sparing surgery. Eleven months after she delivered her second child, she experienced a recurrence of ovarian cancer. In this case, we have experienced the importance of provision of personalized support for individual patient’s psychosocial background, and recognized current problems of our medical care to be left and problems.</p>
