<p>We analyzed the relationships between the physical characteristics of seats extracted from isovist values and their perceptions of “privacy” and “proximity” to their own seats taken from questionnaires. The results showed that workers’ perception of “privacy” had the strongest negative correlation with the isovist value for the desk surface height (H=720mm) and radius R=3,000mm, and their perception of “proximity” had the strongest positive correlation with the isovist value for the seating eye-level height (H=1,150mm) and radius R=5,000mm. The analysis results obtained in this study were examined by comparison with previous studies.</p>
