In recent years, there has been increasing concern over human rights violations in global supply chains. This paper specifically delves into the matter of foreign subsidiaries within supply chains and investigates the legal landscape in the UK. It outlines the concept of parent company responsibilities concerning human rights abuses committed by foreign subsidiaries, and explores the evolving trends within UK law regarding the level of accountability imposed on parent companies.
