Abstract

We applied our original method to English sentences obtained in an actual dictation and confirmed that the method has 96.8% accuracy. In English dictation, an utterance is written down by several learners, and multiple sentences for it are obtained. When the number of utterances and/or learners is small, it is not complicated for an instructor to analyze the sentences and find errors contained in them. However, it becomes difficult when the number of utterances and/or learners is large. Therefore, we propose the method to align sentences obtained from dictation in order to support instructors who incorporate dictation into English learning.
