<p>2023年にネパールのGodawari 国立植物園内に生育するクスノキ科 Machilus duthiei の葉上から，緑藻植物スミレモ科の Phycopeltis arundinacea が採集された．Phycopeltis 属は樹木の粉藻病の病原藻の一つとして知られており，ネパールでは初記録である．</p>
