<p>This paper describes the overview of the certificate program for research data management (RDM) support personnel established in the Department of Library Science, Graduate School of Integrated Frontier Sciences, Kyushu University in 2023. This paper also shows the assessment by students and future challenges. This certificate program aims to develop personnel who will support researchers in research institutions such as universities in managing their research data. The first half of this paper introduces an overview of the program and the contents of each course. The second half shows the results of the post-evaluation survey conducted on students who completed the program and discusses the program’s strengths, challenges, and future direction.</p>
